In this study,we develop a novel direct-expansion terminal by combining a flat heat pipe and an air source heat pump,resulting in a larger cooling capacity,faster cooling speed,and strong adjustability in dehumidification. The cooling capacity of the proposed novel terminal is betw een 1160 and 2600 W,and the maximum cooling capacity is 2.24 times that of pure radiation. Additionally,the structure optimization enables the proposed terminal to separate the sensible heat and latent heat and adjust dehumidification,demonstrating dynamic and flexible characteristics.
